Arboretum
Four years after planting the front lawn is a private and lush retreat
Even in winter the garden has interest, with blooming Daphne and Hellebores and the lovely bark of a Crape Myrtle.
The garden shown in mid-spring with Ceanothus and Siberian Iris
View of the shady courtyard four years after planting. Sum and Substance Hosta always makes a statement.
The shady side of the entry is graced with Hostas and Astrantia in the summer and is brightened by the winter-blooming Mahonia during the darker months.

The back garden is a quiet retreat with a circulating pool and a shady slope planted for year-round interest. By using appropriate plantings the garden requires very little water and surprisingly little maintenance.
The back slope is a tapestry of different textures and foliage colors with subtle use of blooming plants.
